Polybalm® - Clinically Tested Nail Care for Chemotherapy
What is Polybalm®?
Polybalm® is the only product clinically proven in a large, government-funded randomized controlled trial (RCT) to significantly reduce nail damage caused by chemotherapy. It was developed by a team of oncologists, scientists, and complementary therapists specifically for people undergoing cancer treatment.
What nail damage does Polybalm® treat?
Chemotherapy-induced nail damage is as common as hair loss but is rarely discussed. Polybalm® works against the following nail changes:
- Nail discoloration (melanonychia)
- Ridges and dents (Beau's lines)
- Splitting, peeling, or cracks (onychoschizia)
- Nail infections (paronychia)
- Bleeding under the nail
- Nail detachment (onychomycosis)
- Nail spooning (koilonychia)
Ingredients & Effect
Polybalm's natural formula contains rare botanical waxes and biologically active essential oils that have been gently processed to preserve their polyphenol-rich compounds. The ingredients have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. Without synthetic chemicals, dyes, perfume, or preservatives.
The Clinical Study
Polybalm® was investigated in a double-blind, randomized controlled trial by the University of Bedfordshire and Cambridge University Hospital. The study was government-funded and published in an international peer-reviewed journal. Polybalm is the only product worldwide clinically proven to reduce chemotherapy-induced nail damage in such a study.
Application
Massage a small amount of Polybalm® 2–3 times daily around each fingernail and toenail. For optimal results, ideally start a few days before chemotherapy begins. Can also be used immediately for existing nail damage.
Quality & Safety
100% plant-based and chemical-free. Free from preservatives, dyes, parabens, sulfates, or petroleum derivatives. Each pack contains 2 tubes. Suitable for use throughout the entire duration of chemotherapy.
